Dan Rusthoi served in the Peace Corps, retired from 33 years as a physicist at LANL, long served on the board at Habitat for Humanity, was a part-time licensed massage therapist for 12 years, and really enjoyed playing piano by ear for most of his life, sometimes playing in clubs or in church services. He came to me with very severely degenerated shoulders and I put him off from PRP treatment for over a year. But, he was persistent, and he lessened his expectations of me to just help him play piano. I finally took him on as a patient despite the very advanced osteoarthritis in his shoulders, and we did manage to get rid of his constant shoulder pain and got him playing piano for up to an hour at a time.

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and Dan has just recently passed away. You can read his obituary.
